Always Serving and Singing
Jeffery Allen Imler is a Louisiana native who spent his early life in the United States Army. From the beginning, country music ran alongside his service — the sound of Alan Jackson, George Strait, Don Williams, Merle Haggard, and Hank Williams shaping who he was and what he believed music could do.
When he left the Army he turned his full attention to what he had always loved. He became an established Louisiana country artist and singer/songwriter/musician — one that Pro Country described as having "the deep-voiced delivery we all wish we had more of." His debut album Another Shot earned critical praise and his single "Cowgirl Don't Ride Away" was called "a sure hit missed by George Strait."
He Volunteered
When Jeffery heard about Earl Cobb — a 94-year-old Korean War veteran with a catalog of original songs and a dream of having them heard — he did not hesitate. He offered his help for free. He simply believed in Earl's songs and volunteered his time to help co-write, shape, and record them into the music you hear today.
After his military service Jeffery continues to support his military brethren through music therapy programs for disabled veterans.
